Cobia chasing a trout

Commission piece for a local angler with a great fish tale of hooking a trout which was then swallowed by a 3 foot cobia. Both were caught. Roughly 40" long.

More 3D but less 3D. More in the sense that these are actual paintings but less 3d modeling lately. Been making these reclaimed pallet wood paintings for about a year. They are a lot of fun to do. The wood surface forces a big brush, looser approach. This was a commissioned piece around Christmas.

Vector illos

Republican national convention was in Tampa last summer and the client needed some Tampa flavored infographics.

Wireframes

Client needed select buildings of downtown Charlotte NC modeled for a quick turnaround project. He took the models as obj's and added textures in 3D Studiomax.

"Green" building

Somewhat recent work

This graphic went with a piece on AV-integration throughout a community; schools, hospitals, theaters,
sports venues etc. The final interactive piece has titles and rollover popups for the different areas.

Tree frog wip

The frog starts out pretty simple. The legs were a little hard to shape properly until I put him into a sitting pose and could see how the limbs folded and held up the body. Had to rework the back feet and add webbing between the toes and twist the forefeet into the correct position, add a couple morph targets for the mouth and tongue and then done!
